Location
Morriston Hospital is situated in the Swansea Valley approximately 7 miles north of Swansea bay just off the M4.It is the major Hospital for West Wales and is part of the Abertawe Bro Morgannwg University Local Health Board. Swansea has an independent graduate entry medical school based in Swansea University.
Swansea is three hours train journey from Paddington, London. A direct service departs hourly. It is approximately 50 minutes drive from Cardiff airport. Overseas delegates are encouraged to fly directly to Cardiff if possible, transfers can be arranged if you wish to Swansea from Cardiff airport and cost approx £50. Delegates who require a transfer are asked to contact us so we can help with arrangements. There is no direct public transport link between Cardiff airport and Swansea .
If driving, Swansea lies just five miles off the M4 motorway (junction 42) while Morriston Hospital is less than one mile from junction 45. Please follow the relevant links for the Marriot Hotel and Morriston Hospital for detailed instructions and maps.
