Course Description
Ultrasound of the head and neck is a rapidly developing field.
Highresolution ultrasound lends itself to assessment and diagnosis in this area.
Ultrasound can be used as the primary
imaging modality for many conditions
that present in the head and neck, in
combination with ultrasound guided
fine needle aspiration or core biopsy
it becomes a highly specific diagnostic
tool. It’s use in “one-stop clinics” is
increasing.
